Forest firefighters responding to a wildfire in the Tongue Ranger District

SHERIDAN – Bighorn National Forest firefighters are responding to a reported wildfire located about eight air miles north/northwest of Burgess Junction.

The location is not accessible by road. Firefighters are hiking to the fire and will provide more information after they arrive.
