DUBOIS — Senator Larry Hicks and Representative Robert McKim, Co-Chairmen of the Joint Agriculture, State and
Public Lands and Water Resources Interim Committee, have announced the Committee will meet Sept. 11-12, starting at 8:30 a.m. both days.
The meeting will be held at the Headwaters Art and Conference Center, 20 Stalnaker St. in Dubois.
According to the meeting announcement, the purpose of the meeting is to continue the Committee’s interim work. The Committee will study topics concerning the state fire suppression account, the Shoshone National Forest, stranded state lands, and state-led collaboration for federal lands management. In addition, the Committee will receive testimony and updates from various state and federal offices, including the Livestock Board, the Department of Agriculture, the United States Forest Service and representatives of the Wyoming congressional delegation.
