Igleheart earns Marine instructor certification

WORLAND — Jeff Igleheart recently completed the Marine Combat Instructor for Water Survival (MCIWS) course based out of the Naval Amphibious Base in Coronado, California.

MCIWS is designed to train and equip United States Marines for amphibious combat operations, and is one of the most physically and psychologically demanding training courses offered by the Marine Corps, according to a press release.

Igleheart recently returned from deployment to the Republic of South Korea to the Marine Corps Base in Hawaii where he has been serving as a platoon sergeant and will now serve as a water survival skills instructor.

Igleheart is a 2011 graduate of Worland High School and the son of Ted and Susan Igleheart of Worland.
