Goblin Gallop in Ten Sleep Saturday

WORLAND – The sixth annual Goblin Gallop begins at the Ten Sleep rodeo grounds at 5:30 p.m. Saturday evening. The Goblin Gallop is a community fun run around the town in Halloween costumes with hot cocoa and cookies after.

The run is a one-and-a-half- or three-mile run. “I usually have a little fire in a burn barrel after and people just hang out and eat cookies and cocoa and cheer on people still running. Some people only do one lap and walk it and some people run it,” Goblin Gallop organizer Megan Truman said. Dirty Sally’s will be selling chili as well, she added.

Truman stated that the entry fee is either a non-perishable food donation or a monetary donation with all proceeds being split between the Ten Sleep and Worland food banks. “In the past we have raised up to $700 for the food bank,” Truman said.
