Thomas Fredric Thiel

Thomas Fredric Thiel passed away peacefully on October 27, 2017 in his home. He was born in Worland on March 31st, 1942 to Fred and Molly (Piel) Thiel. He attended school in Worland, graduating from Worland High School in 1960.

In 1965 he married Patricia Ann Ramsey, and during their 26 years together they had three children; Matt (Tauna) Thiel, Becky (Jon) Holstead, and Robb (Terre) Thiel. Later in life he was married to Lounell Parks and they had many happy years together.

Tom was well known by the community from his many years as the friendly face at the meat counter at the local IGA, and Blair's supermarkets. He enjoyed woodworking, building model airplanes, reading books by the fireplace, and cooking. He was the self-proclaimed 'Gravy Master.'

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Patricia, and brothers Wayne and Frank.

He is survived by his three children, their spouses, and several grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Betty, of Boulder, CO, brothers, Dave (Betty), of Casper, and Mike (Marlene), of Powell.

Memorial services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 2 at the Bryant Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will take place next summer at the Riverview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
