Delores B. Brown, 87, passed into the saving arms of grace on November 13, 2017 surrounded by the love of her family.
Delores was born on June 1, 1930 to Ival and Feryl (Bolen) Sturdevant in Arkansas City, Kansas. Her family moved to Wyoming and she was raised on the Lower Nowood and attended school in Ten Sleep.
On September 19, 1951 Delores married Gerald M. Brown, who preceded her in death in 2006. They made their home in Worland where they raised their family of three children.
Delores touched many lives in her years of caretaking. She always had a helping hand and time for those who needed her. Her greatest joy was found in serving others. Her devotion and commitment to those she loved was unmatched. Gardening, canning, and preparing a home-cooked meal for her family were some of the things she loved most.
Delores is survived by Gloria (Robert) Sala of Worland, Debora (Shane) Wood of Burlington, CO, and Clayton (Jan) Brown; grandchildren: Khela (Jesse) Morado, Katie (Justin) Pearson, John (Xiaolin) Sala, Nash Wood, Jordan Wood; great-grandchildren: Ryker and Weston Morado.
Delores was greatly loved and respected by her family and her presence will be missed every day.
