WORLAND — Football, turkey dinners and family are staples of Thanksgiving Day, and for the Worland community the Gobble Wobble Run is reaching staple status as the 10th annual Gobble Wobble Run will take place Thanksgiving morning on the Worland bike path at 10:30 a.m.
Family and friends can take part in the two- and four-mile runs or two-mile walk before their Thanksgiving feast. The Gobble Wobble is a fundraising event for the Worland High School cross-country team with proceeds going to the program to purchase senior gifts, team meals, motivational prizes, team gear and end of the season awards.
For those interested, sign-up will be at 10 a.m. the day of the race, entry costs are $10 for an individual or $20 for the whole family. Awards and door prizes will be handed out to runners crossing the finish line.
Last year the Gobble Wobble saw its largest turnout as over 150 people from the Worland community took part in the fun.
If you’re looking to sweat some before the meat sweats, head down to the Worland bike path Thanksgiving morning and support the WHS cross-country runners in the process.
