WHS Drama Club heads to state

WORLAND - The Worland High School Drama Club will be competing at the state competition this week, Nov. 30-Dec. 2, at Casper College.

There will be 50 WHS students competing in a variety of events. They will be competing with two one-act plays. The arena one-act play "Words, Words, Words" by David Ives is directed by Paris Caines with coach Rick Dorn as the assistant director. The cast is Dane Bennett, Delanie Campbell, Andrew Nelson, Cody Butterfield, Raeth Tolman and Zoe Fernandez.

Dorn said "Words, Words, Words" is a play about three chimpanzees that have been tasked with typing Shakespeare's Hamlet. "Good People" is a Tony Award winning play about a lady who is desperately trying to find a job so she hits up her ex-boyfriend. He added that "Good People" has some funny parts but is kind of a serious play.
