Funeral services for Andrew Bain, 73 year old Buffalo resident who passed away suddenly on December 15th at his home in Buffalo, will be held Friday December 22nd at 1:00 p.m. at the New Life Assembly of God Church in Buffalo with his nephew Bob Mitchell officiating. Andrew Robert Bain was born April 11, 1944 in Worland, Wyoming to Woodrow and Mary Bain. He grew up with four brothers on his family's farm near Gooseberry Creek outside of Worland. He graduated from Worland High School with the class of 1962. He then went to work for Bud's Diesel in Worland until he was drafted in the US Army in 1965. He served six years in the Army with one tour of duty 1966-1967 in Vietnam, where he was Crew Chief for helicopter Medivac in the 9th Infantry, 254th dust off medical attachment.

Andy married Beverly Metzler on February 20th, 1965 in Worland. After leaving Worland they made their home in Casper for the next 25 years where they raised their children. They moved to Buffalo, Wyoming in 1990 where he was the mechanic for the City of Buffalo until his retirement in 2013. Andy loved to spend his time fishing and relaxing at his family's cabin in the Big Horns. When he wasn't on the mountain he could be found visiting at the coffee shop or working on someone's old tractor. He was a proud lifetime member of the NRA.

Andy is survived by his wife of 52 years Bev Bain of Buffalo; one son, Justin and his wife Deborah of Casper; one daughter, Ti Brooks and her husband Shawn of Casper; four brothers, Woody Jr and his wife Christy; Bill and his wife Judy; David and his wife Karen, all of Worland; Joe and his wife Joy of Crowheart. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son.
