George Joseph (Joe) Enos Jr. passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2018, he was 95 years old. He was the husband of Jeanne Ann (Follett) Enos. Prior to Christmas 2017, Jeanne Ann and Joe celebrated their 72nd anniversary. Joe was born in Rock Creek Township, Oklahoma in 1922, the son of George Joseph Enos, Sr. and Hattie B. (Wildey) Enos. His parents and sister, Rose, preceded him in death. He attended the University of Oklahoma, graduating with a degree in Petroleum Engineering. He briefly broke up his stint in college to serve in the US Army in WWII as a field artillery officer and liaison pilot in Italy. After completing his degree and marrying the love of his life, he was involved in the oil "bidness" for his entire working career. Joe and Jeanne Ann lived in and travelled to much of the US, Canada, Mexico, the Middle East and Far East before settling in Texas. He is survived his loving wife, Jeanne Ann and by his daughter Elizabeth Eppes of Georgetown, TX. And being one of the luckiest fellows on earth, he leaves behind many, many dear friends from all corners of the earth.
In celebration of Joe's life a gathering of friends will be held at the family residence on Friday, February 16, 2018.
