BASIN — “Enlighten us but make it quick” is the tagline for Ignite Talks.
Ignite Talks began in Seattle in 2006 and are now in more than 350 cities worldwide including Basin, according to organizer Lynn Davies.
Ignite’s mission is “Everyone Speaks.” The goal of Ignite is to build communities and make it possible for anyone, anywhere to present their ideas and their stories, Davies said.
The first “Ignite the Basin” event was in 2015 and have been held annually since then.

Doors open at 6 p.m. for a social hour with refreshments and the program will start at 7 p.m. Ignite draws speakers from across the Big Horn Basin and this year’s lineup includes speakers from Park County all the way to southern Big Horn County, Davies said.
