Public meetings will discuss veterans skilled nursing
CHEYENNE - The Director of the Wyoming Veterans Commission and a member from the Wyoming Department of Health will hold public meetings in the following locations to discuss veterans skilled nursing.
•April 3, Cody, 3 p.m., Cody Elks Lodge, #1611, 1202 Beck Ave.
•April 4, Riverton, 11 a.m., Veterans Hall, 611 East Main St.
•April 4, Thermopolis, 3 p.m., Wyoming Pioneer Home, 141 Pioneer Home Dr.
•April 5, Basin, 9 a.m., Wyoming Retirement Center, 890 US-20
The meetings are being held to provide information and accept public comment regarding establishing a veterans skilled nursing facility in Wyoming, the availability of nursing home beds in the state, and the demand by veterans for a skilled nursing facility in Wyoming.
