Bonnetta "Bonnie" Marie Wray

Bonnetta "Bonnie" Marie Wray, 84-year-old Worland resident passed away on April 11, 2018 at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Bonnie was born May 10, 1933 in Madison, County, Missouri to Simon Leo and Martha Iola (McDowell) King.

She attended rural schools and high school at Frederick Town, MO. She was a wife and homemaker. Later in life she met the love of her life, Calvin Wray. They were married in Las Vegas, NV on Nov. 21, 1977.

Cal and Bonnie spent their life with him working for the US Forest Service while she cooked for the lodges at Deer Haven and Meadowlark. They lived at the Tyrell Ranger Station before transferring to Idaho and Utah for the Forest Service. Cal retired in 1988 and the couple went to Arizona for two years. They returned to Worland in 1990.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, sister Mary Alice King in 1957 and brothers, Ronald David in 1966 and Simon Edward in 2009; son, Rodney Barnhill in 2017

Survivors include her children, Roger (Belinda) Barnhill and Ann (Leon) Sisk all of Worland; step-children, Gary Wray of Arizona City, AZ, Terry (Robbyn) Wray of Casper, Danny Wray of San Diego, CA, Steve Wray of Casper, Judy Ann (Gary) Pudgett of Granite City, ILL, Trudy (Nathan) Wallace of Sheridan; brothers, James King and Ronald King of Fredericktown, MO; sister, Connie McClain of Belgrade, MO; sister-in-law, Debra Barnhill of Arizona, 19 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Worland. Inurnment will take place at a later date at the Black Mountain Cemetery in Madison County, Missouri. Online condolences may be made at http://www.bryantfuneralhomeonline.com.
