According to the National Weather Service, Worland received .33 inches of precipitation on Friday, below the record of .73 inches set in 2005. On Saturday, Worland came close the record with .41 inches of rain. The record is .43 inches set in 1961. On Sunday, as the storm moved out of the area, Worland received .08 inches of precipitation with the record of .14 set in 1990.

For the month of May, Worland has received .82 inches of precipitation with .57 inches the average for this time of year. Last year at this time Worland had received .03 inches in May through May 13.

Since March 1, Worland has received 2.78 inches of precipitation, compared to 3.51 inches during the same timeframe last year.

Greybull, however set records on Saturday and Sunday.

On Saturday, according to the NWS, Greybull received .29 inches of precipitation, breaking the old record of .10 set in 2008. Sunday Greybull tied the 2003 record of .06 inches.

For the month, Greybull has received .55 inches of moisture, just above the normal value of .49 inches. Since March 1, Greybull has received 1.75 inches, compared to 1.60 inches for the normal value and 1.01 inches for the same time period last year.

No records were set in Thermopolis over the weekend. Total precipitation is at 2.06 inches for 2018.

According to the NWS, temperatures will be in the 70s today with near 80 on Wednesday and Thursday, and chance of thunderstorms and showers Thursday (20 percent) and Friday (40 percent).

Red Cross of Wyoming announced Monday that it is assisting four people after an overnight flooding event on Goes In Lodge Road in Riverton. Assistance was provided for lodging and other immediate needs. Further assistance will be provided as needed.
