Raymond Eugene Shoults

Raymond Eugene Shoults, 80, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, went on his journey home to the Lord, Saturday, June 16, 2018. Born December 9, 1937 in San Bernardino, California, he was the son of the late Raymond Eugene Stites and Margaret Frances Marshall. After the death of his father when he was two, Raymond was adopted by his stepfather, Richard Dean Shoults. After his graduation from Pomona High School he joined the U.S. Navy and proudly served his country. He married Angela R. Cochoit on August 1, 1964 in Pomona, California. He was a mechanical engineer in the aerospace industry, a mechanic, and a maintenance supervisor for a copper mine in Indonesia. He enjoyed drag racing and playing pinochle but his passion was hunting in the mountains of Wyoming with his sons.

He is survived by his sons Randy Dean Shoults (Kelly) and children Morgan and Adam Shoults, Richard Dean Shoults II, and his daughter, Alexandra; his daughter Corrine Lynn Cotton and children Jessica and Matthew; grandchildren, Erica Farrar, Melissa (Chris) Crosby, Domonique Linton, and Gabriel and Anthony Becerra, and greatgrandchildren, Christopher and Brandon Farrar, Aubrianne and Christopher Crosby, and Destiny and Damien Linton; his brother Robert (Kathy) and brother-in-law Jules Cochoit. He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, and daughter, Rena Ann Shoults Gomez Waller.

A Vigil Service will be held Friday, June 22, 2018, at 6pm at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, Worland, Wyoming. A Memorial Mass will take place Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 10am at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, with Father Ray Rodriguez as Celebrant. Arrangements have been entrusted to Veile Mortuary.
