Testing of emergency sirens Thursday

WORLAND — Beginning this Thursday at 2 p.m. the outdoor warning sirens in Worland and Ten Sleep will be tested.

There are four warning sirens in Worland and one in Ten Sleep. During a test all five are activated at the same time. Warning sirens will continue to be tested every other Thursday at 2 p.m.

The Washakie County Sheriff’s Office is asking residents to help by notifying WCSO Dispatch if the siren in your area does not seem to work during the Thursday tests.
