Serving the Big Horn Basin for over 100 years
Alice Verl Clymore nee Minard passed away in Cheyenne, Wyoming Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 78 years old. Her service will be held at Riverton First Church of the Nazarene on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor James Davis officiating.
She was born in Riverton to Duwayne Minard and Jeannette Minard nee Hogans on July 19, 1940. Her childhood was spent in the oil field and lumber camps from Oregon to Wyoming. She graduated from Worland High School in 1958. Alice was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Shirley Richard.
Alice is survived by her three children and their spouses, Joel and Cindy Clymore, Jeanne Clymore and Allison "Sunny" and Bob Felton. All her children later went on to have children of their own and she became a proud grandmother to Joel "Danny", Christopher, Katherine, Chelsea, Grace, and Chad. She also had six great grandchildren and one on the way.
In the late '70s, Alice ventured out with two business partners and friends, together they started Tri-Quality Answering Service which served the Riverton area for over 10 years. After leaving Tri-Quality, she was employed at Wyoming Workforce until her retirement.
Alice enjoyed playing cards, reading, fishing, shopping yard sales and craft fairs, and spending time with family. She was proud of her Wyoming heritage, was an avid history buff, and was a member of the DAR for several years.
Often she would be found in the back pew every Sunday morning, as a member of Riverton Nazarene Church; until her health prevented her continuing attendance. Although she still practiced her strong faith until her passing.
She humbly gave to charities such as Paralyzed Veterans of America, St. Judes, VFW, and her local church.
The family requests donations to the aforementioned charities in lieu of flowers.
