Floyd Courtney

Lattimer passed away on August 10, 2018 at the age of 80. He was born on March 18, 1938 in Ethete, Wyoming to Lewis H. and Clara (Courtney) Lattimer.

Floyd graduated High School in Riverton, Wyoming and then went into the military. He joined the United States Navy in 1955. He actively served for three years and then transferred to the reserves and served for two more years. He was honorably discharged in 1961. Floyd was married and had two sons, later divorcing. While in the Navy, Floyd worked as a mechanic. Sometime after his discharge, he moved to Worland and began working on local farms. Thereafter Floyd tended bars in Worland, which most people remember him from.

Floyd is survived by his sons Todd (Alejandra) Lattimer and Scott (Nanci) Lattimer; his grandchildren Gabriel, Alyssa, Shanea, and Ami Lattimer and Meghann (Ethan) Hecht; and one great-grandchild July Hecht.

Cremation has taken place and no formal services have been planned. Arrangements have been entrusted to Veile Mortuary.
