10th Big Horn High Mountains 2018 Jeep Jamboree begins today

WORLAND - For those Jeep enthusiast the 10th Big Horn High Mountains 2018 Jeep Jamboree is happening today and tomorrow at the Elk View Inn at Burgess Junction. Today a visual of registration for attendees will be at 5 to 7 p.m. Tomorrow the attendees will take to the trails at 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The 10th Big Horn High Mountains 2018 Jeep Jamboree is a part of the annual Jeep Jamboree USA and is an annual off-road weekend of adventure that brings the outdoors, down-to-earth people and their Jeep 4x4s together. Find Jeep enthusiasts, and the bold style and capabilities of the Jeep brand, in a unique setting outside of the traditional dealership.

Jeep Jamboree USA off-road treks have a long-standing tradition dating back to 1953 when 4×4

Pioneer, Mark A. Smith, organized the first-ever Jeep Jamboree and voyaged across the Sierra

Nevada Mountains by way of the old Rubicon Trail. In 1954, Willys Motors (original

manufacturer of Jeep vehicles) created Jeep Jamborees and paved the way for the off-road

tradition ever since.

Those attending the event can also register to enter the2018 FCA US LLC National Giveaway

for a chance to win $45,000 toward any eligible vehicle from the Chrysler, Dodge, FIAT, Jeep

and Ram Truck brands.
