Mary Weber Lenox

Mary Weber Lenox passed away Sunday October 7, 2018 at the age of 89. Mary was born to Joseph and Maria [Steinmetz] Weber July 6, 1929. Mary was the second to the oldest of 7 children and stepped in to care for those children while her mother and father worked on their Worland family farm. She was a most important part of the Weber family. She worked and grew up on that farm before moving to town and working at Foodland Grocery and Pennys. Mary then moved to California to start a career there in the dental field as a Dental Assistant. She met and married Mel Lenox, and they made their home in Annapolis Maryland where Mel worked at the Annapolis Academy teaching sailing to the Mid Shipman, and Mary continued her career in the dental field. After Mel passed away Mary moved to San Antonio, Texas and worked at Lackland Air Force Base. She retired and moved back to her beloved Wyoming.

She is survived by her son, Stew [Lorrie] Anderson, her two grandchildren, Eric Anderson and Bailey Anderson and their mother Trae. Her granddaughter Ashley Anderson from Cheyenne. Also her stepson Scott Lenox. Her sisters Bert Barngrover of Powell and Betty Merritt of Riverton. Many nephews, nieces, and cousins. Also her wonderful friends and neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mel Lenox, her parents, Joe and Maria Weber, brothers, Willie, Victor, and Jake Weber, sister Erma Meinholz .

Mary was of the Christian faith and loved her Lord and Savior with whom she now resides in glory. Memorials may be donor's choice. There will be a Celebration of Life in the spring on Casper Mountain. Details will be given at a later date.
