Donald Lee Schaff, born on September 20, 1937 in Worland, Wyoming to parents Carl and Lola Schaff died on November 12, 2018 in Oklahoma City at the home he shared with his sister Dorothy Ann (Schaff) Thomas. He was 81 years old.
Donnie grew up in Worland and graduated from Washakie High School in 1955. He left Wyoming in the 1960’s and lived in California and later in Tucson, Arizona where he worked with a family business cleaning houses and office buildings after construction or remodeling. He was the main caregiver for his mother Lola in Tucson and then later when they relocated to Oklahoma City to be closer to Dorothy Ann and her family.
Donnie was preceded in death by his parents Carl Schaff in 1979 and his mother Lola Miller in 2001. He is survived by his sister Dorothy Ann Thomas of Oklahoma City, niece Patricia Coley of Oklahoma City, and nephews Steven Thomas of Marshalltown, Iowa, Robert Thomas of Lodi, California, and Carl Thomas of Oklahoma City.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on November 17th at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery in Oklahoma City.
