WORLAND – The final state drama results show that Worland High School received first place in 3A Sweepstakes with 186 points and was the third highest in the tournament among school’s competing.
This weekend, Worland’s drama team headed to the state championship in Rock Springs and Green River. Fifty-three students with the team attended state competing in 18 different events.
WHS drama team received third place in proscenium play with the student directed production of “The Diary of Anne Frank,” and third place in devised play with “Rings of Life.”
In honor of this, Worland High School will be recognizing the students today during a pep rally, along with the team taking a ride around town on the Worland Fire Department fire truck at 10 a.m.
This is the second consecutive title for Worland.
