Worland basketball pick up wins in Lovell; Worland swimming ready for final home meet of the season

WORLAND - Rebounding from losses on Friday to 3A Northwest conference rival Powell, the Worland Warriors and Lady Warriors basketball teams picked up important wins against the Lovell Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs, Saturday night at Lovell High School.

The Warriors won 45-34 and the Lady Warriors downed the Lady Bulldogs 46-45. Today, both teams are back in action against the 4A Cody Broncs and Fillies at Cody High School. Tipoff for the Lady Warriors-Fillies is at 5:30 p.m. and the Warriors-Broncs is at 7 p.m.

Coming off their meet in Lander on Saturday, the Worland Warriors boys swimming team is set to host their final meet of the season today at the Worland Aquatic Center at 5 p.m. The Warriors will take the pool against the Cody Broncs and Powell Panthers.
