Gary Apland passed away on March 15, 2019 in Gillette, WY surrounded by his family.
He was born on August 8, 1961 to Alvin and Myrona Apland in Worland WY. He was the middle child of three children. He grew up in Ten Sleep and Thermopolis, WY graduating in 1980 from Hot Springs County High School.
He worked for Reda Pump in Thermopolis, Clay’s Pump Service in Powell, Wy then Reda Pump and Wyoming Pipe and Tool in Casper, WY as a pump service technician. He later returned to Thermopolis to take care of his mother.
He was an avid fisherman and loved being outdoors especially with his dogs.
He was preceded in death by his father Alvin, grandparents Golden and Clara Allred of Ten Sleep,
Gert and Bertha Apland of Worland, Uncles Stanley Allred and Willard Allred of Ten Sleep.
He is survived by his mother, Myrona of Thermopolis, sister, Tammy (Tim) Hoaglund of Gillette, brother Jere (Donna) Apland of Thermopolis, his son Anthony (Katie) and granddaughter Avery of Laramie,
Nieces, Jenna Hoaglund, Jacee Hoaglund, Kinley (Josh) Taylor, Kylee (Allen) Markey and his uncle, Lonnie Allred of Riverton.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
