Memorial services for Annette Renee Arey, 39, will be Tuesday, May 28, 11:00 AM at Mortimore Funeral Home, Thermopolis, WY. The Reverend Joe Galligan of Holy Trinity Church will officiate. Miss Arey died suddenly May 20, 2019 as the result of an auto accident.
Born October 16, 1979 in Grass Valley, California, she is the daughter of Ray and Jocelyne (Bonnand) Arey. She grew up in Grass Valley on five acres raising animals for 4-H. Showing her animals, rabbits, swine or steer at Fair were always special times for her. The family moved to Thermopolis in 1995 where Annette graduated from Hot Springs County High School in 1998. She acquired a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in 2017.
After graduation she worked in Casper, then Cody. Annette returned to Thermopolis to manage the family business of Game Time Athletics for five years. In 2011 she went to work for the Department of Family Services. She thoroughly enjoyed working with the public and being of service to families. Annette was recently working in DFS offices in Worland and Thermopolis.
Her interests included reading and cooking, and she adored animals and spending time with her friends.
Those cherishing her memory include her parents, Ray and Jocelyne of Thermopolis; sister, Michele (Steve) Tuggle and their children, Alyssa and Justin, of Auburn, California; grandmother, Maxine Arey of Riverton, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in Wyoming, Colorado, California,and Oregon, and her friends. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Donald Arey and grandparents, Ernest and Berthe Bonnand.
