Eileen Walton,

age 81, of Rush City, left this earth to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, May 17, 2019.

Eileen Elizabeth Weber was born May 11, 1938 to Louis and Emma (Lehman) Weber in Worland, Wyoming.

Eileen graduated from high school in Worland, Wyoming and attended Northwest Institute of Medical Laboratory and X-ray Technique in Minneapolis to become a lab technician. She worked at the Lighthouse Restaurant in Cambridge in 1976 and also as a dental assistant for Dr. William Kieper in Rush City for 16 years as well as volunteered at GracePointe gift shop in Cambridge for 15 years.

Eileen loved to bake and quilt. She took great joy in sharing her baked goods with family and friends and loved to hear that people enjoyed her specialties; caramel rolls and pies. She was an active member of the Thimbleberries Quilt Club which became Sisters in Stitches. Her quilts were a labor of love for all and she would create a new quilt for each grandchild’s graduation, wedding and each new great-grandchild. She enjoyed spending time with her friends in Crochet Club (which became Card Club).

Eileen was baptized in Goose Lake through Fish Lake Baptist Church. An active member of the Dale Evangelical Free Church, Eileen held many varied roles including Sunday School teacher, vocalist, Awana leader, summer Bible school teacher and a woman who believed in the power of prayer. Her smile, sense of humor, hospitality and loving ways will always be missed.
