The Bureau of Land Management is reporting The #NeiberFire continues to grow and is now up to 13,159 acres. The conditions are still hot, dry and windy. The Wyoming Type 3 team will take command later today. Firefighters from several agencies are working hard to overcome the challenges of the difficult terrain. The fire is 35% contained.
UPDATE JULY 16, 2020
The Neiber Fire grew to 8,000 acres Wednesday. According to the Rocky Mountain Area Coordination Center, energy infrastructure and sage‐grouse habitat threatened. 5 LAT (large air tankers), 4 SEATS (single engine air tanker), 3 helicopters engaging the fire last night could not keep up with the spread. Terrain and ground access is difficult. The fire transitioned to an Incident Command 3 Team Thursday morning.

Multiple agencies are fighting a wildland fire south of Worland.
The fire is burning in grass and sagebrush on Bureau of Land Management lands. It was listed at 2,000 acres and 50% contained Wednesday morning, according to Sarah Beckwith, BLM Worland Office public affairs specialist.
Beckwith said the fire was human caused and is under investigation.
Resources included two helicopters and four single engine air tankers, several engine with more hand crews and additional resources ordered Wednesday morning.
BLM crews in addition to Worland and Ten Sleep Fire Department, Thermopolis Fire Department, and Bighorn and Shoshone national forests crews have responded.
Mapping was to occur Wednesday of the fire area for more accurate acreage.
