Forshee returns to familiar role as Ten Sleep ag teacher

TEN SLEEP – Former Ten Sleep School ag education teacher Adrienne Forshee returned to her position this year after about an eight-year break.

Forshee was the ag teacher 12 years ago for about four years, when she decided to focus on running the family ranch with her husband, along with being a mother to their two children.

Forshee graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural systems and technology.

She has always had a role in the education field as she has held positions throughout the district, the University of Wyoming and substitute teaching.

Being a Ten Sleep area resident for 20-plus years, Forshee enjoys ranching with her family as well as scuba diving, running, gardening as well as cheering on her children in all of their activities.

The start of the year has been an enjoyable experience for Forshee, as she has been able to get to know the students of the district and staff she works with.

"I have been grateful to all the staff, I cannot think of one day that someone has not reached out to give me a helping hand," Forshee said.

Forshee also assumed the role of the FFA advisor and yearbook advisor for Ten Sleep students.

Forshee takes over for Michelle Arnett who resigned after being notified earlier this year that her contract with Washakie County School District No. 2 would not be renewed.
