A dream fulfilled: Cloud Peak Chiropractic & Wellness Center provides full slate of services

WORLAND - A vision that began 13 years ago has reached fruition for Cloud Peak Chiropractic & Wellness owner Dr. Sarah Radabaugh.

Radabaugh opened her business in Worland in 2007, moving to its present location at 618 Coburn in 2018. "This is my dream. I had hoped and dreamed that one day I would have a clinic with lots of different providers working together providing natural options to solve people's health issues. So this has been really fun. It's so lovely to have so many different providers under one roof that we can collaborate together on and refer patients back and forth," she said.

She said they designed the facility to have 12 standard treatment room-size for health care with the hope that it would allow her to be flexible.

"We have been able to sort of serve as an incubator," Radabaugh said, noting that nurse practitioner Sarah-Ann Galloway started her practice at Cloud Peak but then outgrew her space and opened up her own place - Wild Rose Wellness with locations in Worland and Ten Sleep.

SERVICES

Joining Radabaugh with the chiropractic services is Dr. Nathan Miller. She offers acupuncture and Miller has just completed his certification. They also offer nutrition counseling and kinesio-taping.

They have a hydro-therapy table, traction table, deep tissue massage table and foot scanner that evaluates arches of the feet and can order custom orthotics.

There are also two massage therapists who work in the spa area, Jessie Carroll and Angela Smart.

Radabaugh said the therapists will be offering some new therapies just in time for winter, body scrubs, sugar and salt scrubs, hand and foot scrubs.

Two yoga instructors, Valarie Anderson and Danni Chambers, offer classes in the yoga studio.

Child psychologist Dr. Dina Tassione also has her business in the facility.

The latest edition to the wellness team is optometrist Dr. Emily Bryant, who opened Mountain West Eye Care this summer. Radabaugh noted the Bryant is on maternity leave at this time but will be returning to her practice soon.

Cloud Peak Chiropractic & Wellness has all their spots full in the facility, with a meeting room available for rent for businesses.

FUTURE

As for the future, Radabaugh said one thing 2020 has taught her is that regarding any long-term planning you have to be willing to adapt to changes as necessary.

She said they have been swamped with patients throughout the pandemic, noting that chiropractic services were deemed essential services at the national level. "There is such a need for the services we offer - helping people to reduce stress, helping people find natural options for the issues they are facing."

The massage therapists were shut down for a time this spring due to state health orders, however.

As for sanitization Radabaugh said, "We were clean before but now we are very, very clean."

She said they have asked patients who are sick to stay home and they have taken precautions with the elderly.

While they have taken all the precautions they can to keep patients and staff safe through the pandemic, one concern Radabaugh has if patients put off care because they are afraid. She said sometimes putting off care can exacerbate a problem.

"We're being very careful, it is definitely safe to come in here and get help," Radabaugh said.

With all that said, they will be adding an infrared sauna to their growing list of services in the near future.

She noted that the services Cloud Peak offers has drawn patients from about a 90-mile radius.
