THERMOPOLIS — After all the votes were counted in East Thermopolis there is a tie for one of two council seats.

There are two seats open in East Thermopolis and Gary Holbert topped the ticket among three candidates with 57 votes. Jack Kuiper and Bonnie S. Smith tied for the second seat with 48 votes apiece. Results show that one write-in vote was cast. There were also 78 under votes, meaning someone did not cast a vote or the marking was unreadable.
