Jerry Alexander

Jerry Alexander, 70, a lifelong resident of Worland passed away Friday, November 13, 2020 doing what he loved to do. Jerry loved being raised here in Worland and was very active in gymnastics, track and cross country. Jerry was also extremely helpful in running the Chief Service Center as well as their family's bulk fuel distribution company. Jerry owned multiple service stations in town at one point. He graduated with the Worland class of 1968. Jerry was extremely generous with donations to local activities, organizations and in volunteering of his time. Jerry served on the Worland City council, was a volunteer EMT and assisted the coroner's office. Some of his passions were go-carts, snowmobiling, motorcycles and camping up at Deer Haven and Battle Park. Thirty two years ago Jerry's Lawn Care was started with his pickup and a push mower. Jerry loved his customers and successfully grew this into a thriving business.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents. His legacy includes his children Alisha (Jimmy) Hill of Worland, WY; Greg Alexander of Billings; siblings Janice Alexander of Amarillo, TX; Marilynn (Frank) St. Clair of Worland, WY; Duane (Terri) Alexander of Lynden, WA; and grandchildren Kylah Sumida, Mary Hill and Joelle Hill, all of Worland, WY; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life open house will be held Saturday, November 21, 2020, 11:00am until 1:00pm at the Eagles. The public is welcome to come and go as they please. The family requests to come and fill out your own sticky note to leave for Jerry. Memorial Donations may be made out to the Worland Senior Center and mailed to Veile Mortuary; PO Box 730, Worland, WY 82401. The spreading of his ashes will be at a later date. Funeral and cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Veile Mortuary.
