Serving the Big Horn Basin for over 100 years

Michael Lee Patrick

Michael Lee Patrick passed away at his home on January 12, 2021 with his loving family by his side. Mike passed away with complications from Congestive Heart Failure and NOT from the Covid-19 virus. It was such a blessing from God to be taken peacefully, and he is able to rest.

Mike was born on Christmas Eve in 1951 in Worland, Wyoming to Sherman Delmar Patrick and Mary Alice Young. He graduated from Worland High School in 1970. He had many jobs throughout his life from driving school bus in his high school years, to working in the oilfields for Amoco, Dowell, and Bass. He married Mona Saddler in 1972 and they had a daughter, Tina Marie. They later divorced and in 1980 he married Jenean Sell Ideen and added another daughter, Devon Paige Ideen to the family. In 1981 their third daughter, Traci Lee was born.

Mike built the Oasis Car Wash in 1984 and after the Worland laundromat burned down, built Coin-Op Laundry located on Big Horn Ave. He and Jenean also bought a candy vending business from Nobles.

He enjoyed sheep herding, rock hunting, camping and fishing. He later joined the Worland Woodturners group where he created beautiful wood carvings that he shared with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Sherman and both sets of grandparents.

Mike is survived by his wife, Jenean; his mother, Mary (Forrest) Clay of Worland, Wyoming; one brother, Timothy Dee (Lori) Patrick of Ten Sleep; daughters, Tina Marie (Bobby) Richins of Worland, Devon Paige (Aaron) Casem of Avondale, Arizona, and Traci Lee (Dusty) Feezell of Basehor, Kansas. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Bronz Mitchell (Mandi Eaves), Maranda (Dan) Olds, Breanna, Haylee, Jace, Audrey, Ethan, Booker, and Bodey and 3 great-grandchildren, Cedric, Felicity and Vilate.

Services were held Saturday, January 16, 2021 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Worland. The family will gather at a later date for... as Mike would say the "flushing of the ashes".

Memorial donations may be made to Stillwater Hospice or to St. Luke's Lutheran Church and sent to PO Box 524, Worland, WY 82401. Online condolences may be made at http://www.bryantfuneralhomeonline.com.
