Shawn Eugene Pickler, 61, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2021 in Casper, Wyoming.
He lived in Worland, Wyoming, with his family, from 1991 to 2005 where he worked as an automotive technician for Ralph Wortham, Stan’s Automotive and Washakie Garage.
He married Holly Segehtti on the rim of Grand Canyon National Park on May 23, 1987. They lived in Flagstaff, Arizona prior to moving to Worland. They later divorced whereupon he moved to Casper.
He was the third of six children born to Eugene and Marcia Pickler, on November 27, 1959 in Los Angeles, California. He grew up in Norwalk, California going to the beach and surfing. In his down time, he was a consummate goof-ball, skipping, singing and playing with his kids. He was known for chasing down ice cream trucks with his kids and nieces and nephews, as well as going fishing and going dumpster diving with them.
He is survived by his children, Devin Terrance Pickler, Shawn Eugene Pickler II, Chinell Monet Pickler and her son, Anthony Kai Garcia.
He will be missed and remembered for his generosity of spirit and his big heart and his love for his children, especially his daughter, Chinell who he loved and adored beyond measure.
A small private memorial was held and cremation has taken place.
