WORLAND - Family business opens on main street, finding a new home for screen and embroidery apparel printing.
Sarah Lungren said she was needing a new challenge and started looking for new opportunities. She began talking to Signs of Sutherland, who closed the apparel shop in March 2020. Once they reached a deal for the equipment she and her husband Clint began looking for a building and they found it at 824 Big Horn Avenue.
Fence Post Prints opened in mid March but Lungren said they began taking orders in February so they hit the ground running.
She said the screen printing equipment was purchased from Signs of Sutherland but they purchased new embroidery machines.
Fence Post Prints also has received the certification to use the Wyoming Steamboat logo.
They offer heat transfers, screen printing and embroidery on a variety of items including clothing, bags and chairs. "You name it we can figure it out," Lungren said. The do custom printing for individuals, businesses, teams – including baseball jerseys, Washakie Prevention Coalition Drug-Free Walk T-shirts and Worland Recreation.
She said she has also completed orders for businesses selling certain designs in their own shops.
"Our community is awesome," Lungren said regarding the support the new business has received.
Lungren runs the shop herself and this summer has assistance from her niece Lily.
"It's been a lot of fun. I like to learn new things."
