Serving the Big Horn Basin for over 100 years
Tom Jahrig passed away of a fatal vehicle accident. He was 80 years old July 5, 2021. Tom was born in Worland, Wyoming, but he made Manderson his home. He lived in Manderson for 31 years.
Even though his age never slowed him down he was always helping others. When he wasn't he was doing his hobbies.
His company never left without a smile from all the jokes he told.
He liked fishing, hunting and riding the four-wheeler. He also loved to can.
He also played with his dogs, wherever he went, they would go. A lot of his friends would stop by just to say hello.
Tom will surely be missed and all his jokes.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Sara Jahrig; one sister Shirley Jahrig; a brother-in-law Ken Saunders; two nephews DJ Fronk and Henry Study. Tom is survived by one son Albert Jahrig of Manderson; one sister Helen Saunders of Manderson; and one brother George Jahrig of California. He is surrounded by a lot of grandkids, nieces, nephews and his very best friend Lynda Dodge.
As per Tom's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life was held at Manderson Park on Saturday, July 10.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Veile Mortuary.
