Betty Adell (Solaas) Sisk

Betty Adell Sisk, 82-year-old Worland resident, passed away September 9, 2021 at the Billings Clinic in Billings, Montana.

Betty was born on April 4, 1939 on the family farm in Bristol, South Dakota to Bern't Lars "Ben" and Agnes Oline (Bakken) Solaas. Her family moved to Spearfish, South Dakota in 1953 where she finished her schooling, graduating in 1957.

She later met Delbert Craft in Texas and to this union four children were born, Duane, Kevin, Delta and Debbie.

Betty traveled a lot throughout her years, holding various jobs. She met her beloved companion, Edward "Kay" Sigmon in 2003 and they were together until his passing in 2013.

She enjoyed traveling, crocheting, making arts and crafts, canning, camping and fishing, but mostly she loved being a mother, grandma and Nana. Spending time with family, especially playing cards and Aggravation games were her favorite pastimes.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jerry and Jim; son, Darwin "Kevin" Craft; daughter, Debbie Gamble and companion, Ed Sigmon.

Survivors include, her son, Duane (Shannon) Craft, Sr. of Worland; daughter, Delta (Dave) Ankeny of Worland; grandchildren, Josh (Erin) Craft, Constance Salcido, Steffanie Salcido all of Worland, Joel Salcido (Katy) of Sheridan, Stephanie (Isaac) Ashby of North Carolina, Michele (Jonah) Vilseck of Indiana, David Ankeny of Basin, Duane Craft, Jr. of Nebraska, Travis Craft of Nebraska, Shannea Brown of Worland, Amanda (Justin) Morton of Oregon, Jessica and Breanna Craft; 22 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 18, 2021, at the Eagles Lodge #3096 in Worland. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens Cemetery. As a way of honoring Betty, the family asks that you wear a bit of Betty's favorite color, purple, at the service.
