Serving the Big Horn Basin for over 100 years
Teresa Claudine Vigil of Worland, Wyoming, born to Matthew and Mary Vigil (Harris) on May 13, 1971 gave up her spirit to the Lord October 3, 2021 with family at her bedside. She is preceded in death by her father, Matthew James Vigil and her grandparents. She leaves behind three sons, Andrew, Ryan and Michael; her mother, Mary; sisters and brothers: Tammy, Joe (Kristi), Francine (Jerry), Matthew (Katrina), Toni McKim (Jeromy), James (Wendy), Ricky (Carey); 26 nephews and nieces, a very large and loving extended family and countless friends whom she considered and loved as family.
Tess's life could be summed up by the title a Daughter of the Holy Roman Catholic Church. Tess spent her whole life looking for God and desiring to know and be ever closer to Him. She accepted all the many crosses of her life, even the ones she fashioned herself and patiently and lovingly united these sufferings to the sufferings of Christ for the sake of His Body The Church (Colossians 1:24).
Tess was always quick with a smile and loved to be around people which resulted in numerous friends all across the country to whom she truly saw as unique and individual souls made in the Image and Likeness of God which she prayed for and desired to win over for Our Lord, that they might be numbered among The Saints.
Tess would like to be remembered simply by the following prayer of pardon:
MY GOD, I believe, I adore, I trust, and I love Thee!
I ask pardon for all those who do not believe,
do not adore, do not trust and do not love Thee. - Angel of Fatima
