Eliud "Lute" Leyva

Eliud "Lute" Leyva of Buckeye, AZ passed away on Thursday October 7, 2021. Lute was born on December 26, 1937 to Andrew and Julia Leyva in Worland, WY. He resided in Worland for 81 years before moving to Buckeye, AZ. Lute married Cida Munoz in 1960, going on to have five children, Andy, Jerry, Robert, Tom and Aleisha. They later divorced. Lute married Olga Leyva and they celebrated 43 years of marriage.

Lute worked at Holly Sugar, from there he went on to work at Washakie Block & Redi Mix and then on to Pepsi Cola where he retired from.

Lute had a love for the Lord, he spent every Sunday watching Jimmy Swaggart. He called it the church of the air.

When it came to his family, they were everything to him. Lute loved watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren play ball as much as watching his Rams and Dodgers. Lute also enjoyed his garden, yard work and a good card game.

Lute was a family man with a heart of gold. He will truly be missed.

Lute is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Isaac Leyva and Andrew Leyva, two sisters Lydia Presnell and Alice ArreDondo and a grandson Damon Costalez. He is survived by his wife Olga Leyva, his brother; Gavino Leyva, his sisters; Priscilla (Fidels) Molina, Hope Gonzales and Esther Pacheco, his six children; Andy (Misti) Leyva, Jerry (Mary) Leyva, Robert Leyva, Tom Leyva, Daniel (Diane) Leyva and his daughter Aleisha (Kevin) Trumbull, three stepchildren; David Pardez, Tish Parral and Mark Parral and 22 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren.

A family Visitation will be held at the Veile Colonial Chapel in Worland, on Friday, October 22, 2021 from 5:00-8:00pm. Funeral services will be held at Mt. Calvary Fellowship on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 11:00 am. Masks are encouraged. Graveside services will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens. Arrangements have been entrusted to
