Santana "Sandy" Rodriguez

Santana "Sandy" Rodriguez Arellano, 82, of Worland passed away November 27, 2021.

Sandy was born July 26, 1939 in Morelos, Coahuila Mexico to Domingo Davila and Damiana Rodriguez Arellano. He grew up in Eagle Pass, TX. Sandy came to Wyoming with both his parents in the year of 1951. They all worked in the agriculture fields of Wyoming. Sandy later worked with Cooks Sales and Service, Worland Ford, Holly Sugar and retired from the City of Worland which he worked for 30 years. Sandy met his wife Maria at the church. They were married August 26, 1967. Together they had four children.

Santana was a faithful member of Mt. Calvary for 50 plus years. He was a deacon, Sunday school teacher and worked with the youth. If you knew Sandy, you knew his faith in God. He touched many lives and many lives touched his. One of the greatest joys in his life was serving God. He had an unwavering faith until the last day, until the last breath. Sandy died peacefully at home with his wife by his side.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Maria Garcia Arellano; his sons, Joel Garcia Arellano and Jeremias Santana Arellano; his daughters, Noemi Arellano and Rebecca Arellano Contreras (Uriel); his sisters, Catalina Cortez, Epifania Martinez, Jenny Fabela, Tonia Stockdale and Josie Reynolds; his grandchildren, Joshua, Bettina, Miguel, Angel, Bella and Jonathan; and his great-grandchildren, Izaiah and Kaycen.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 5-7pm at Mt. Calvary Fellowship, 200 N 3rd Street, Worland, WY. Funeral Services will be at 10am on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Mt. Calvary Fellowship with burial to follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Worland. Arrangements have been entrusted to Veile Mortuary.
