Serving the Big Horn Basin for over 100 years

Sheri Lynn Phillips Jones

Sheri went to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ, on October 27, 2021 with her children by her side. She was born on May 17, 1961 in Billings, Montana to Helen and Roy W. Phillips.

She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother and friend.

She attended school, grades 1-11 in Worland, getting her GED in Spokane, WA in 1979.

She married Dana Knight, later divorcing. Through that union, she was blessed with her son, Tim. He was her pride and joy.

She later married Carl Jones. Through their union, she was blessed with a daughter, Destiny whom she loved and adored.

The family settled in Casper, WY, where she was able to attend Casper Community College, graduating with a Business Administration Degree, achieving a 3.9 GPA.

She held many jobs over the years, but, she shined as the office manager at Central Wyoming Fairgrounds in Casper. For 15 years, she organized all the vendors and aspects of the fair upon many other functions held there.

When her marriage of 18 years, ended, she did a lot of soul searching and returned to Worland. She was a care giver at Beehive Assisted living. She began attending Grace Chapel Community Church, giving her life to Christ, being baptized and finally being free of the addictions that controlled her for so long. She gave God all the praise!

During that time, she met Bob Eberle, becoming the best of friends and began a true commitment to each other.

When her health took a bad turn, she moved to Torrington, WY, to be close to her daughter.

She was proceeded in death by her grandparents, Dick and Bea Merrill (Worland) and her father; Roy W. Phillips (Worland).

She leaves behind her children; Destiny Jones and grandson Ryder (Torrington); Tim Knight (Casper); her mother, Helen (Gene) McCully of Clarkston, WA; sister, Julie Phillips Russell (Bill) of Heber City, Utah; stepmother, Linda Phillips (Worland); step sisters, Shannon (Doug) Soderstrom of Worland, Darcy Fethkehner (Troy) of Ponca, Nebraska; and her significant other, Bob Eberle of Worland.

We would like to give a special thank you to Linda Phillips and to cousin: Joan Hartley Byrd and Pastor Louie Pantelis. You were true blessings to her.
