Serving the Big Horn Basin for over 100 years

Armando Deniz

Armando Deniz, 34, of Casper, Wyoming passed away surrounded by his loved ones July 27, 2022 at

Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center in Denver, Colorado.

Armando was born April 7th, 1988 to Florencio and Diana (Ramirez) Deniz in Worland, Wyoming.

Armando grew up learning to become an avid hunter with numerous trips to the mountains with his

father and siblings. His family remembers him as a mischievous child and say that never completely

went away! He also enjoyed his vehicles, lowrider bikes, and riding his razor. He was very mechanically

inclined, always taking things apart to study and figure out how to put them back together again. After graduating

from Worland High School in 2007, Armando then moved to Casper. Starting at a young age, Armando

was always a very hard worker, working at Worland Ford where he later finished in the oil field when

being diagnosed with Leukemia in January 2020.

Armando was a loyal, devoted, and loving husband and father to his high school sweetheart Yvonne

Reyna and their four children. Any opportunity he had he would take his family to the mountains to do

what he was passionate about. Armando also found peace cooking in the kitchen while listening to his

music. Family and friends were of the utmost importance, and he loved all his children, nieces, and

nephews dearly, teaching them the good and at times, the trouble-making side of himself.

Armando continued to be strong, loving, and caring throughout his cancer battle; the love of family gave

him strength. He found encouragement and hope from reading scripture, prayer, and drawing close to

his trusted savior, Christ Jesus. His earthly departure seemed all too soon; however, we are reminded

that life here is like a vapor and we all can have the hope of heaven to look forward to. One of the last

known scriptures he referenced to was Ephesians 4:32 "And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted,

forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you".

Armando was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jose A. and Anita Gonzales

Ramirez; paternal grandparents, Eucebio Deniz and Evangilina Rodriguez, Fidencio Reyna Jr. (Boysie);

his close cousin, Luis Deniz Jr., and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is survived by his parents, Florencio and Diana Deniz, the love of his life, Yvonne Reyna and their

children: Armando Angel, Adrian Angelito, Amelya Reyna, Aurelio Rey, and all of Yvonne's family that

loved him dearly; siblings: Jose Eloy (Amy) Ramirez, Amanda Lynn Deniz, Adriana (Nelvi) Gutierrez,

Alejandro Deniz; nephews: Antonio, Amarion, Dandeni, Damian, and one on the way; nieces Adalys, Lila, Jordyn, Josie, and Kayla and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A rosary will be held 7:00 PM, Monday, August 1, 2022 with a visitation held one hour prior at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday August 2, 2022 with Father Robert Rodgers officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the "Deniz Children College Fund".
