Vince M. Cervantes

Vince M. Cervantes passed away December 8, 2022, at the age of 93. He was born April 5, 1929, in Alden, Kansas. He graduated from Worland High School where he was a star football and basketball player.

Vince served with the Wyoming National Guard unit that was deployed to Korea during the Korean War during which he was awarded two bronze stars. He went to work for Vannoy Roofing after high school and worked for Vannoy until he retired. He also worked for Holly Sugar during campaign for many years.

Vince’s passion was golf and he played until he was in his 70’s. He was a good golfer and was a favorite in calcuttas. He also mentored many young golfers and encouraged their games. A remembrance is planned for spring at the golf course.

As Vince would always say, “Not long, just down the middle”.
