Washakie County Homemakers donated $100 to several organizations with funds raised during the Hobby Day craft fair last fall. The donations were presented during the annual luncheon May 6 as part of Homemakers Week. Accepting for the Washakie Hospital Foundation are Marty Hinkle and Mary Jo Hake, for Washakie County Search and Rescue Dave Michel and for Worland Senior Center Carlene somebody. Not present were representatives from New Hope Humane Society and Washakie Ministerial Association Food Bank.
The Washakie County Homemakers officially honored the 2023 Unsung Hero and presented Certificate of Appreciation to another volunteer during the Homemakers annual luncheon Saturday, May 6.
