Vicki DeVita was born August 7, 1942, to Jim and Donna Brownell in Denver, CO. On May 25, 2023, she went to be with the Lord, she was 80 years old. A closed casket funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, June 3 at the Sterling Berean Church with Pastor Daniel Holsten officiating. Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 14 at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO.
Vicki spent most of her childhood in Wyoming. She graduated from Worland High School, and she went on to become an RN and worked in various hospitals in Colorado and Arizona. On July 9, 1966, she married Bob DeVita. They had 2 children, Vicki and Bob raised their family primarily in Globe, AZ. When both their children were grown, Bob and Vicki moved to Sterling, Colorado in1992, where they would reside for over 30 years. Vicki was a member of the Berean Church. She loved her church family and loved serving the Lord. She would always look forward to teaching the bible story each Wednesday night at AWANA and helping with VBS in the summer. Vicki enjoyed bowling, road trips, bible studies and serving anyway in the church.
Vicki was preceded in death by her beloved husband Bob and her mother Donna Brownell.
She is survived by her son Rob DeVita and wife Amy of Odessa, TX, her daughter Donna Cole and husband Gary of Powell, WY, and 5 grandchildren RJ DeVita, Jessica DeVita, Courtney DeVita, Nate Cole and Sami Cole.
