He also reported that the District Administration Office is about halfway through being renovated. Also under construction, the security vestibule at the entrance to East Side is nearly done. South Side is also having this work done, but is further behind. West Side is the furthest behind but will require the least amount of work.
POLICY
Policies 2.1 Attendance and 2.50 Graduation were approved on third and final reading. These policies were originally one policy but were split up to better define requirements of students.
BUSINESS REPORT
Cauffman said that as of July 1, the school district became the sole owners and operators of the Worland Aquatic Center. He said that work is not yet done on getting things switched over, and that it will take time, but thanked those involved for a smooth transition thus far.
Assistant Superintendent Jody Rakness said that the school district’s grants for the upcoming school year had all been submitted. She also said that her team was in the process of transferring and consolidating funds to give more flexibility in how funds could be used to better serve students.
