Mr. Jack James Miller passed away Monday, September 11, 2023 in Casper, Wyoming. Wife, Pamela Ann Miller, passed away April 7, 2023 in Casper, Wyoming.
Jack was born October 4, 1942 in Worland, Wyoming to Robert and Arlene Miller. After graduating from Worland High School, Jack worked for the Miller Brother's farms. He served in the National Guard for many years. He later started working at Tommerup Machine Shop as a machinist until retiring. Later he started his own restortation business, Black Bart Restoration and Repair, where he continued his love of working with machines. He was an avid lifelong truck and tractor puller and traveled across the country and Canada competing in nearly all states. Jack could design, fabricate, and fix anything fathomable!
Pamela Ann Collingwood was born October 27, 1948 in Greybull, Wyoming to Allen and Faye Collingwood. She graduated from Greybull High School and attended college at Northwest College in Powell, Wyoming. Pam worked as a secretary for Worland Middle School for many years and retired with Washakie Medical Center's accounts payable. Pam was a lifelong learner and loved taking college courses throughout her life. Her passion was making and donating quilts to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and other non-profit organizations. Pam was amazingly creative and was skilled at every possible craft and art form!
Jack and Pam met in Worland and were married in Idaho in 1990. They made their home in Worland, Wyoming. They rescued many pets, enjoyed bowling and tractor pulling together. They loved hosting family gatherings and picnics in their big, beautiful yard. They were proud to work and create their home's beautiful landscaping and gardens.
Jack and Pam are survived by children, Heather (Steve) Gilmore of Casper; Robyn (Byron) Welter of Havre, Montana; Misty Maier of Arizona; Michele Watters of Arizona; Curtis (Julie) Geer of Corning, Iowa; siblings, Linda Alred of Worland; Sandi (Randy) Baugh of Torrington; Ranee Collingwood of Casper; Katherine Sponsel of Mississippi; 15 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 - 3:00 pm on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at the Worland Senior Center, 300 South 14th Street, Worland, WY 82401.
