Patricia Cassetty Cannella

Patricia Cassetty Cannella, 83, passed away peacefully at her home on April 17, 2024. Pat was born on March 4, 1941, in Whitleyville, Tennessee. She was the 2nd of five children born to Willard Ray and Katherine (Meadows) Cassetty. She grew up in the Whitleyville area, graduating with the Class of 1959 from Jackson County High School. She attended college for 2 years.

Pat married Len Jay Cannella on August 12, 1971 in Whitleyville. The couple was blessed with three beautiful daughters, Kim, Leah and Katie.

Pat was completely devoted to our Lord and Savior and her husband and children, whom she loved very deeply. She enjoyed photographing wildflowers, hunting fossils and arrowheads, growing flowers and plants, and making beautiful quilts. In her younger days, she even showed horses. And she was always sneaking treats to the kids who came to visit! She was a homemaker in every sense of the word – She made HOME!

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Leah, sister Frances Darnell, brothers-in-law, Charles Darnell and Robert Startup and nephew, Alex Ray Cassetty.

Survivors include her loving husband, Len; daughters, Kim (Cliff) Jones and Katie (Galen) Turner all of Denver, Colorado; grandchildren: Parker Jones, Steven Johnson, Chris (Jodie) Johnson, Lucas and Logan Turner; siblings, Steve (Sue) Cassetty, Wes (Anita) Cassetty and Ellen Startup all from Whitleyville, TN.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Crosspoint Baptist Church with Pastor Fred Smith officiating. A private family inturnment will take place at Riverview Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Crosspoint Baptist Church Mission Fund.
