Serving the Big Horn Basin for over 100 years

U.S. Senate: Republican – Reid Rasner

Where do you currently reside, and how long have you lived in Wyoming?

I currently live in Casper, Wyoming, and have lived almost my whole life in Wyoming. My life has always been about Wyoming, starting with working at our generational family business, graduating from the University of Wyomign, and starting a successful finance firm. My mission has always been to benefit Wyoming and take advantage of what it has to offer, I intend to increase the opportunity and build off of what has been given to me for our great citizens.

Why are you running for Senate?

When I saw the damage done in the last several years with mandates, the financial ruin of many during the pandemic, and the countless officials who stood by and let it all happen, I knew I had to act. John Barrasso, as one of our Senate Leaders, allowed it to happen more than almost every other politician in America. How could anyone stand by and let that happen to our fellow countrymen and women? I couldn't, and that's why I decided to run - to help America return to reality and defeat John Barrasso.

What is THE most important issue facing our country that you hope to help address if elected?

Fixing the spending. We are spending way too much on everything. Bureaucracy must be reduced in order for our nation to function better. This is my biggest and most important issue. It is causing inflation and hurting everyone.

Do you feel you are able to work across party lines to find solutions to issues for the betterment of the country?

I can work across lines when it benefits Americans. However, often, our party quests for compromise even when the compromise will permanently damage our nation. We must stop kowtowing to people who do not have the best interests of America at heart. My mission will be to end the cycle of abuse of the American people, find compromise where possible, but make sure I never work toward something that is not in the best interest of our nation.
