Johnny Lee Kiser

Johnny Lee Kiser SR. 72, Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his children and grandchildren in Worland, Wyoming on August 22, 2024.

John was born on March 30, 1952 in Wheatland, Wyoming to John and Irene (Lipps) Kiser. His family relocated to Worland for a short time in 1954. They moved to Oregon and stayed till 1959, finally settling in Worland. John graduated from Worland High School. He was an avid baseball player and was involved with FFA. John Married Jane Davies in August of 1977 and five children were born from this union. John Jr., Jamie, Jerry, Justin, and Jacy. John and Jane later divorced.

John married the love of his life, Linda in 2001 expanding his family with three more children, Casey, Desiree and Stephanie. John worked as a heavy equipment operator and truck driver for P.E. Grosch construction for 26 years. He retired in 2023. In their free time, John and Linda grew one of the best gardens in town. Their backyard was always a lush green oasis.

John adored all of his grandchildren, always making his day when he got to see them.

He loved the outdoors, darts, horseshoes, hunting, fishing, and the fourth of July. He always had to buy the biggest roll of black cats he could find.

John was an avid elk hunter and instilled his love for elk hunting into his children and grandchildren. Elk camp will never be the same without him.

John was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Linda and one brother, Donald.

Survivors include his children: John (Donna) Kiser of Worland, Jamie (Chad) Baumann of Shoshoni, Jerry (Teska) Kiser, Justin (Dezire) Kiser and Jacy (Austin) Brookwell all of Worland, Wyoming; Casey Re, Desiree Ross of Worland and Stephanie (Bobby) Mondragon of Casper, brother, Jerry (Monica) Kiser of West Virginia; grandchildren: Daimon, Chassity, Shayla, Johnny, Deneva, Josiah, Joslyn, Halee, Abrianna, Lacoda, Athena, Norah, Myah, Kinley, Karter, Lincoln and Braylee. 3 step-grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Also mourning his loss will be the Anheuser-Busch Company.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 31, 2024 at the Eagles Lodge in Worland. In lieu of flowers Memorial donations may be made to assist with funeral arrangements and sent to PO Box 524, Worland, WY 82401. You may also donate online at http://www.bryantfuneralhome
