Jared Theodore Ray Gottula

Jared Theodore Ray Gottula passed away on Monday Sept. 9, 2024 in Thermopolis, Wy. He

was born in Thermopolis on March 31, 1983 to Ron and Nancy (Richardson) Gottula.

Jared was a loving husband and a loving father. He loved spending time with his family and wouldn't miss the opportunity to show them how much he cared for them. Jared was passionate about hunting and fishing, he enjoyed sharing these hobbies with his kids and friends. He was always kind and would give someone the shirt off of his back if they needed it. He was helpful around the house, always pointing out the next project and was happy doing yard work with his father.

Growing up Jared enjoyed football and wrestling, he enjoyed these sports even more when he got to watch his sons play and cheer them on. Jared liked to take his daughter on the fourwheeler and couldn't wait for her to participate with her brothers in outdoor sports.

Jared had a heart of gold and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Jared is survived by his wife, Crystle; his sons Jeffrey and Paul; and his daughter Anna of Laramie, Wy .; his father Ronald; and his sister Amber (Wes) Meier of Thermopolis, Wy .; and brother Lonny Schuring of Salt Lake City, UT. Nieces Taylor (Xander), Allee, Kelsey and Erica; and Nephews Michael (Zoe), Logan and Brayden.

He is preceded in death by his mother Nancy Gottula; his brother Rob Gottula; his uncle Eric Richardson; his grandparents Bob and Joyce Richardson; and grandparents Dean and Maxine Gottula.

Services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, Sept. 21, at the Community Federated Church in Thermopolis, Wy. Burial will follow at Monument Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to assist with funeral cost. https://gofund.me/1cc2f212.
